During a two-year trainee program at Munich based Bavaria Film GmbH, one of Europe's biggest media companies, Lars Wiebe gained a varied experience in many aspects of physical film & tv production, post-production and international sales.
He then expanded his education with studying film production and media economy at the University of Televison and Film Munich. During his studies he produced several short films, continued to do freelance work for a number of production companies and spent half a year living in Los Angeles working as an intern with New Line Cinema.
In 2004 he started operating as an acquisitions and co-production executive at Prokino Filmverleih GmbH, one of Germany's leading independent distribution companies.
He joined Millbrook Pictures in November 2008 as head of Acquisitions & Co-Production and is based in Millbrooks’ Munich offices.
